Alt-Tab Replacement (I USE THIS ONE.)
With this PowerToy, in addition to seeing the icon of the application window you are switching to, you will also see a preview of the page. This helps particularly when multiple sessions of an application are open.

Pres the ALT key, then while holding down ALT, press the TAB key (but don't release off ALT just yet). You will see the above appear on your screen. While still holding ALT down, press and release on the TAB and you will see it making selections in the box. As you select on an icon, you will be able to see a preview of what the window/program is showing - as if you were in it right then. Once you get to the window you want, then you can release the ALT key and it will go into the window/program you last selected.

Image Resizer (I USE THIS ONE.)
This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.

BEFORE you download this one, go into your pictures folder. Right click on one of the pictures. Notice there is nothing in this menu that shows about resizing your picrues? Now AFTER you download it, when you do the same things, you will NOW see the option of Resize Pictures in the menu.
When you select this option, you will then see the following window:
Now if you are unsure about what size you want to make it BECAUSE you don't know what size it is to begin with....hover your mouse over the picture you are wanting to resize and a small description will display showing you something similar to this
There will be a dimensions displayed in this box (as shown here, mine was 640 X 480). So going back to RIGHT-CLICK and selecting RESIZE PICTURES, you can then better determine what size to change it to. Now when you do this, it does not have to be JUST to make it smaller. You can actually resize it to be bigger as well. So I went ahead and chose Large (fits 1024 X 768 screen). This then makes a COPY of the picure (does NOT change the original ones size). Now hover over it, and you will see the size change has taken place
Notice that the actual size of the picture has changed as well. Meaning, mine went from 307 KB to 1.56 MB.
*Be sure you want to do this as playing around with the sizes too much can cause problems to the quality of the pictures. Now if you ARE wanting to replace the original and NOT make a copy, when you select the Resize Pictures option, there is an ADVANCED option at the bottom of the window

This lets you choose here if you want to replace the original with the newly resized one. As well as offers you a CUSTOM option for creating your OWN custom picture size.
CD Slide Show Generator
With this PowerToy you can view images burned to a CD as a slide show. The Generator works downlevel on Windows 9x machines as well.
