My Oats

Are you a creative kind of person?  Do you remember a game called Spirograph from back in the day?  Do you like drawing and doodling and creating random shapes and pictures?  This is THE site for you.  Check this site out HERE.

Here you can draw amazing pictures from scratch.  This is NOT your typical pen to paper drawing site.

This is what you get when you first enter the site;

This is an example if a picture you can create, created by another member of the site.

You will see a menu bar at the top of the page

Create is where you can go in to create your own drawing to share with the world or keep private for your self.
Most Liked will show you all the drawings that other members have made that everyone has liked the most on the site.  Here you can browse through MANY different creations.
Recent shows the most up-to-date activity that others have publicly shared.
My Account is where you can go to see everything related to your account, once you sign up for a FREE account that is.
Forum is where you can go to get to get announcements related to the site, introduce yourself to everyone, read about and or make your own suggestions, get help and discuss anything you want with other members of the site.
Logout is to log out of the site.
Search lets you search by artist name, title name, tags and so much more.

When you go into the create are, you will see this screen:

Notice the menu options at the bottom of the drawing board.
Shape Color - Change the color of the geometric shapes.
Unfortunately at this time, you cannot have multiple colors.

Edit let you undo your last changes you made one at a time until you have undone all you want to undo, and you can completely clear your drawing board to start over if you need to.

View allows you to select Reflect (which doubles what you drew to mirror itself.  Blur (which blurs the picture), Gradient (which adds a gradient backgroud to your selected background color) and Drag Points (which after your draw something will give you points to move around selected areas to more define your drawing).
Drag Points:
Close PointWhen drawing a polygon, clicking the close point, will “close” the current shape. A users’ next click will be the starting point of a new polygon.
Drag PointsAlters the geometry of shapes drawn with the Smooth Pencil or Filled Smooth Pencil Tool.

Notice the little shape above the slider bar?  This shows you based on how many sides you choose what it will reflect your picture to look like.  In this picture, I have selected 3 sides, notice the little picture has 3 sides.  If you slide the slider up or down, the picture represents the number you select.  Like if you pick 10, this is what it would look like:

Tools gives you many options of drawing tools to use.
Filled PolygonDraw a many sided, filled shape.

Filled EllipseDraw a filled ellipse. Hold down the "Shift" button while drawing in order to achieve a perfect circle.

LineDraw a single straight line

Line Size Alter the thickness of strokes and outlines around geometric shapes. You can choose from 0 to 36.  The higher up you slide, the thicker the drawing tool will put out.

Opacity - Alter the opacity of the stroke and geometric shape that is being drawn.

Intensity - Alter the vividness of all the geometric shapes.

Zoom lets you zoom in on your picture so you can see the details better and or if you are wanting to add details so you can see up closer.

Stage Color is the background color.  The same color palette to chose from like the Shape Color only for the background of the picture.  This is the only way to have a second color in your picture (but only one color for the actual shape itself).

Here is an example of one of my creations:

No ones creations will ever be the same as there are too many different things that can be done.

Try your hand out and see how creative you can become.  Save them as private or for public viewing.  All of your saved designs are saved under My Account.  The way you save a design is in the top left corner of the canvas.  You have a few options under the tab as well.
