Favicons

Have you ever notice how most all sites you visit have a unique icon associated with their name in the address bar?   Also appearing in the browsers tab at the top next to the site title and when you create a bookmark as a way to identify the site?  These are called Favicons.  Favicon is short for favorite icon.  They are files containing one or more small icons, most commonly 16x16 pixels   Do you have your own website or blog and would like to create your own for more personalization?  Have you ever wondered how they are created?  Well I have JUST the site for you.
HERE you can create your very own, for FREE.   You can even import a picture you may already have and edit on it.  Favicons must be saved in the .ICO file format and your standard Windows Paint program does not offer that format to save in.  This site saves it in the .ICO format and makes it easier than ever to create and upload to your own site.
Check it out and ENJOY!
