Never miss a sale or price change again!

I came across an extremely useful website, especially for during the Christmas shopping season.

This site allows you to keep track of prices from any products across the net by sending you email alerts of changing prices.

To get started, go to ShoppingNotes.com.
You have the option to register if you want, but it is not required to take advantage of the features they offer. The perk to registering though is that you get rewarded when you refer your friends/family and they set up alerts.

NOTE:  If you do NOT register, every time you put in a new alert and your email on where to send the alert to, you will have to verify your email every single time by clicking on an email they send you titled "Please verify your email address to active alert."   

Once you active the alert, if you did not register, you will notice you still get "signed in" because this is how it tracks all of your shopping alerts you have set.  You are technically NOT registered until you click on register and verify your email along with creating a password.  Registering is THE only way you can qualify to receive the gift card incentives.

Gift cards?  That's right!   For every friend you refer that sets up a price tracker, you will receive $1 in your ShoppingNotes account.  Once you reach at least $10 but not over $100, you can request a gift card.  You can choose from Amazon, Target and many more.  Find more details here.

To set an alert, you simple enter the URL of the page the product is on onto the ShoppingNotes website along with your email address.  When the price goes up or down, you will be notified via email.  Simple enough?  When you are on the main home screen page, you will see this:

Find the product you are wanting to track, copy the address at the top of the page and paste it into the top spot labeled Product page URLs.  You can create multiple product alerts at once rather than one at a time.  Enter your email address in the next box and viola, done.  If you registered, you are done.  If you did not register, make sure you go to your email and verify for each of the alerts you just submitted so you get updated when there's a change.


Regardless if you register or not, you can still track all of your shopping alerts.  If not registered, click on the link in your email verification email to be temporarily signed in on the site.  If you registered, simply go to the site, sign in, then go to My Shopping Notes in the top right corner.

Next to each items description is an edit that allows you to mark favorites, take notes and make price & availablity changes.

The edit near the alert and price at the very end of each item allows you to set the alert price and duration.

This site is extremely handy when you are tracking the iPod for your sister, the vacuum for you mom and the pair of diamond earrings for yourself.  What ever the item and for whom ever they are for, you cannot go wrong with keeping track of changing prices the easier way.  Not having to bookmark each products page and go back all the time to check for price changes can definitely make your shopping life much more hassle free.
