Swagbucks - Legit or a Scam??

Swagbucks is seriously one of the best rewards site on the web today. They have really grown since they first started and have paid out a whopping  $703,124,718 to date.  I have been using this site since June 2011 and cannot say enough good things about them. They are definitely NOT a scam. This is 100% a legit site to earn money on.

Swagbucks rewards you for the things you already do on a daily basis while using the internet - watching videos, shopping, playing games on your phone and so much more. Read on for more details on how to start earning some extra cash for your pocket.

If you used a referral, earn 300 SB within your first 30 days and you'll automatically be credited an additional 300 SB (that's $3 FREE). ANSWER

This is where you'll find your Daily Poll question (worth 1 sb) and your Surveys – great payouts and you get 1 SB for at least trying (up to 5 per day) but you can take as many as you want, no limit. IMO, this is the quickest, FREE way to rack up those points.

Shop

Earn cash back for shopping with your favorite stores. There are many to choose from. Below is an example of just a few they offer and the cash back they'll give.

Coupons

This is found under the shop menu. 
Earn 1 sb per 3 coupons printed. SB for printing will credit the following day.
Redeem coupons for 50 sb each. Takes 8 to 12 weeks for the redemptions to fully cycle and post to your account. 

Magic Receipts 

This is also found under the shop menu.
These are grocery store items you can upload receipts to get points in return. Shown here are a few examples of some of the stores you can use as well as a grocery list showing a few items you can redeem for.

Found under the SHOP tab, here you can print coupons to save on your prescriptions.

Travel

Found under the SHOP tab, here you'll find discounts for staying in hotels as well as earning sb for doing so.

Discover 

These are walls by partners offering their own ways to earn SBs. Each has their own customer support tied to them as well.

If you decide to do an app downloads and have to complete something within a certain time frame, they recently made it possible for you to see how much time you have left for that app. Go to the Discover Home tab and it will be listed at the top.

(*TIP* if you have a reloadable gift card that are Visa or MC, use these in place of your debit card so you don't get charged. I have some that only have a few bucks on them, I use these in place of my debit card when signing up for free trials (the ones that charge you after your trial is up) that way I am not charged. Some do not except these types of card but a lot do so its worth trying)

Games

This is found under the Discover section.

There are Cash games, Mobile and Free games.

Cash games are played on WorldWinner and you have to spend money to earn sb in return.

Mobile games, you can download tons of apps and earn for completing certain requirements such as reaching a        specific level or purchasing in game to simply just playing for a few days.

There's also a few games at the very bottom called Free games that will earn up 10 sb for playing them.

Here you will find Watch where you can watch tons of video and earn sb for them.

Daily Bonus

This is found in the top right hand side of the toolbar.

Everyday you will be given 2 goals to reach and if you reach them, then you get additional SBs. Below you will see an example of what todays looks like. The To Do List never changes so you'll always have these same tasks to shoot for. 

If you get streaks you will also earn even more bonus SBs. You earn streaks at 7 days (earn 25 sb), 14 days (earn 100 sb), 21 days (earn 200 sb) and a full month (earn 300 sb). The 5th day of each month, you can claim the previous months bonuses you earned. This can be found at the bottom of the Daily Bonus window.

Inbox Offers

This can be found by clicking on the bell in the top right hand corner.

Here you'll find more offers directed right in your inbox on their site.

It shows you when it will expire, the date it came trough to you, the amount you'll earn, where it cane be found and a snippet of what it is.

Searching

Search as you normally would online but here you have a chance to win SB.

This is in the top toolbar.

SwagCodes

Find them on their Facebook fan page in their posts.  Also found also on Twitter and their blog. Here's an example of what they'll look like:

Referrals

This can be found under the MORE tab.

You will get 300 SB bonus when your friends earns their first 300 SB as well as 10% of their earnings for life (it does NOT take out of your referrals earnings, they are a bonus to you)

Swagbutton

This can be found under the MORE tab.

This will be in your toolbar in the top right hand corner and is very useful for quick access and quick checking of your daily goal progress. You can Shop, Answer and enter SwagCodes from here.

Hourly Random Winner - This is a random drawing held hourly.  You do not have to do anything other than be logged on.  For the longest time I though I would never win then one day I DID!  In the blog is where you can find out who the hourly winner currently is.  I actually have a trick to share with you. Go HERE.  You can follow this page and allow mobile alerts, and be alerted for every winner there is, so you never miss your name or a friends name!  Just remember, you ONLY have one hour to claim your 1,000 swagbucks though (that equals $10 so don't miss it)!!

Team Challenges - This is where we all compete against each other to be one of the top earners BUT we also work together on a team to try to earn SwagUps - those are discounts you get when redeeming for a reward.

Amounts will vary from challenge to challenge.

SWAGO - is a game like Bingo, you complete tasks to mark off squares. Once you have a winning line, you can cash in (but only once so make it count)

The point scale is 1 point equals 1¢. You need at least 100 points minimum ($1) to cash out. You can redeem for many different gift cards such as the most popular ones being Visa, Amazon, Walmart and PayPal. You can also donate to charities and enter swagstakes to try to win actual prizes.
