The MENU RIBBON is the row or words at the top of your office program such as FILE, HOME, INSERT, etc. This toolbar can be customized to meet your needs. There are a few different ways to get to the customization screen. This works on all Office products.
- Right click on any of the words on the menu ribbon and select CUSTOMIZE THE RIBBON.
Make sure the ribbon you are selected on is MAIN TABS.
- Click NEW TAB and the following will appear.
Make sure it is positioned where you want it to show in the ribbon. Use the up and down arrows on the right side to move it where you want. Each can be renamed as well by right clicking on the label and clicking RENAME. The NEW TAB (CUSTOM) will be what is shown at the top of the ribbon and NEW GROUP (CUSTOM) will be what's shown underneath each group. You'll see here in a second what I mean.
You can also make your own area in ANY ribbon you want. For example, I added one to the HELP ribbon as shown below.
This was just an example here but you can customize your ribbons how ever you want. You can even rename EVERYTHING to whatever you want as well. Your choice, your ribbons!
