Learn How To Write Code

I came across a few amazing training sites aimed at teaching you how to write code for websites.
Some of the different types of coding includes: HTML (all types), CSS, JavaScript, XML, ASP, SQL, PHP and SVG, to name a few.

HTML Dog teaches step by step about HTML and CSS.

HTML Dog takes you through beginner, intermediate and advanced stages of both HTML and CSS.  You are given examples to plug into a Notepad file and can then visually see the changes in internet format view as soon as you hit save in the Notepad file then refreshing the internet page.  I only suggest this site to those of you actually interested in learning about website development/design and have patience, as well as time, to do so.

Codecademy has a great interactive tool integrated into it for interactive training.

This site teaches you how to code in a fun way through courses and by letting you track your progress and share with your friends on social networks.  It will help “put you on the path to building great website, games and apps!”

One site I am really looking forward to that is not officially launching until Winter of 2012 is called CodePupil.

Then my favorite of these, called w3schools, offers just about everything there is to know in regards to learning about creating a website and more.

Plus a really great thing about this site is that it is used by many top Universities who refer their students to use this site for training and studying.  They also offer ways to become certified allowing you to take free learning courses, done at your own pace.  Then when you are ready to take the test, it is $95 and you get two tries at passing.

There are many ways to write code, so being able to learn about them all from one place makes learning them just that much easier as well as more fun too!

ENJOY!
