Christmas is right around the corner and I know when I think about Christmas, I picture a white one. But where I live, it does not snow often enough. So if you are like me and you can't WAIT for the snow - then let the snow come to you.
This is a neat website that lets you create your own snow flake designs and then watch it snow. Your snow flake design along with others are the snow flakes. You can click on others snow flakes and comment about them if you like.
When you fist go to the site - it will take a minute for it to load. You will then see this after it all loads:
See all the snow flakes falling in the picture? You can click on each of them to view a more detailed picture, like this:
You have the options to print the snow flake or respond to the maker. At the top of each of these snow flake windows, you will see a name, location, a date and a message relating to the person who created it.
As new ones appear, they wil be labeled with NEW next to them showing the most recently made snowflakes.
When you click on Create your own snowflake - you will be taken to the creator screen
Click and drag your mouse along the white triangle and you will see a dotted line as you draw. When you release your moue button, you will see already what it looks like on the lower left hand corner

As you can see, I did not do anything too in detail. It took me only a minute or less to do it but still turned out to look pretty neat. If you make any cuts you do not like, just hit the UNDO button at the top of that gray box. Or you can completely start over by clikcing on RESET.
The more you play around with it the more designs you can make and the better at making them you will become. Some of them have floored me as to HOW someone could have made it - some of them are just SPECTACULAR!!
Once you are finished designing it - click on the DONE button next to the arrow. You will then be given a form to fill out. You must in put your Name, Location, a Message and your Email (use a fakes if you don't want to use your real one - I use aaa@aaa.com as my email address). Click next and it will then ask if you want to send it to firneds. DO so if you want to. Then it will go back to the main screen. Your will be labeled with YOURS next to it.
